The lower floor

50Archbishop Floor 0, Valletta.

Beneath Floor 1 lies the older half of the house — reached by a stone staircase of 1647 and, by the Owner's reckoning, the more beautiful of the two floors.

Its portrait has begun. More, and better, are promised.

— The Owner.
